How stinkin' cute is Michaela! And how well-behaved are Oscar and Bruce!
Trista and Luke are the sweetest. They weren't super thrilled to be in front of the camera, but you wouldn't know from their photos. Once they forgot my camera and I were there, they relaxed and showed me how comfortable they are together despite the cold. These two really are the nicest, I called Trista "Trisha" all evening and she didn't correct me once. (Embarrassing, I know, I pride myself on getting my clients' names right) I can't wait for their wedding next August!
It is undeniable that Kat & Coulee make the cutest babies. We had our session planned when Miss Elliot's was nine days fresh. It was the end of September and we were banking on the weather being HOT, like it had been the entire week before. Unfortunately that day was cloudy and only in the low 70's (not very warm for a newborn). Somehow, on my drive to the park that evening, the temperature broke 80 and the sun came out. I had a great evening shooting this family in the most gorgeous light. Greyson wasn't too thrilled with pictures, but at least we got him to give his new baby sister a few kisses (while looking handsome as can be). This was my first outdoor newborn session and you can bet I'll be hoping for more next summer!
If you read my last post (from 5 minutes ago) I mentioned Anton's best friend Blaze, well Brook is Blaze's older sister. Somedays I feel like we should move to Beulah because Anton has so many awesome friends that live there. Brook is one of the sweetest people I have ever met, and Harper is totally taking after her! I got to visit their farm after exploring with Jacey, Josh, & Oakley. It was a little cold out and Harper really just wanted to stay inside and dance, but she put up with us for long enough to get a few smiles. Thanks for letting me come hang out guys (tell Joe his presence is required next time)!
Anton (my roommate/lover/dog dad) met Josh a few years back when Anton's best friend, Blaze, invited him on a road trip to Valley City to celebrate his friend's 21st birthday. Anton, who is always up for anything even if it's the middle of the week, of course said yes and off they went. They met up with Josh and after raging their little hearts out, they ended up staying in a hotel room with Josh's dad (it sounds awkward, but Josh's dad is actually really cool). The next morning, they headed back to Bismarck and Blaze's car broke down. They were stranded and Anton ended up being late for work. Josh & Anton have been friends ever since, so of course that means I get the better end of the deal and get to hang out with Josh's gorgeous wife, Jacey, whenever we meet up.
These two are the epitome of "couple goals". They have been married now for almost three years and every time I see them, they seem as though they were just married yesterday. I had the chance to venture to Beulah a couple weeks ago and had so much fun wandering around with these two! Did I mention I love when my clients bring their dogs!? (especially when they're rottweilers) Here are a few of my favorites from their session:)
