Last week I flew down to Nashville, TN to hang out with the super amazing Josh + Meg of Love is a Big Deal. They filled me with all kinds of knowledge, and I'm finally ready to start making the slow transition into becoming a destination wedding photographer. I will still be taking all other sessions, but they will begin to have limited availability as I fill my time with more weddings. Here are a few shots from the workshop!
A few weeks back I had posted a model call on Facebook looking for a stylish couple. I was beyond excited when Audriana emailed me. The plan was shoot half the session at the parking garage, and the other half at a local rooftop bar. Our plans were quickly changed when security guards busted us within three minutes of shooting at the garage. It was a blessing in disguise because we found a gorgeous blooming tree and got some great urban shots in the alleys. Thank you Audriana and Sasa for exploring downtown with me, you two are the best!
Ashley and Jarrod picked up Maggie just over a week ago. I was a little too excited when they agreed to let me have a quick session with her this past weekend. I of course brought my huge monsters and they were pretty much scared shitless (excuse my language). Ashley, Jarrod, and Maggie met me at my favorite park shortly before they headed to the Brantley Gilbert concert. Not only did they meet Brantley himself just a few hours later, Jarrod also PROPOSED! Congrats Jarrod & Ashley, Maggie will make a beautiful flower girl ;)
I posted on Facebook that I was looking for a model for a styled maternity session. I ordered the most beautiful dress from Sew Trendy Accessories and a couple gorgeous floral crowns in my stash happened to match perfectly. The day Kyleigh emailed me, I knew I HAD to take her photos. From the moment she stepped in my door, I knew it was going to be an amazing session (despite the moody weather and lack of HMUA). Let me tell you guys, Maternity Glow is a real thing. Not only is Kyleigh gorgeous, she is so genuine and kind. She let me play with her hair, take her on an adventure, and listened to all my dog mom stories. I am so excited for her and her hubs to take on this exciting new journey together!
I was so excited when Sarah invited me over to capture little Hayes turning three months old. He is SUCH a happy little guy and Oakley is such a good big sister! Enjoy this adorable family!
